Stabilising Planetary-Scale Intelligence

Large Energy Model Technologies Limited is a deep-tech R&D company based in Sherborne, Dorset, founded and led by Dr Aaron Tan — doctor, biomedical engineer, and systems architect. He holds 3 degrees from University College London (UCL): BSc, MBBS, PhD.

Our R&D is laser-focused on a single architectural question: how do complex, constrained systems make intelligent decisions in real time? We work across three domains where that question matters most: distributed energy infrastructure, cyberphysical systems, and space-based electrical and physical inference networks.

We are IP-heavy by design. The company holds three registered UK trademarks, including our flagship Large Energy Model® in Classes 9 and 42, and has filed ten UK patent applications covering physics-supervised AI, distributed energy orchestration, orbital inference networks, and payment authorisation networks.

At the core of our technology stack is PAVLINA® — our proprietary orchestration architecture. PAVLINA governs how intelligent systems observe, reason, and act within constrained environments, using external authoritative signals as the intelligence layer rather than unconstrained statistical inference. Its broader application spans electricity grid management, orbital network coordination, and any complex system where constraint-native intelligence produces more reliable outcomes than general-purpose AI.

We regularly translate our patent filings into interactive demonstrations and publish them on this website as our applications progress through the UKIPO process.

We are actively seeking strategic partnerships and pre-seed investment from organisations with aligned interests in constrained-system intelligence, professional financial infrastructure, and the future of physics-grounded AI. If that describes you, we would welcome a conversation.
